A classic Hare's Ear. Hare's Ear is a fly that hooks many Rainbow. Stripping a hare's ear can be varied a lot, I hook most Rainbow myself when I jerk-strip the fly a couple of decimetres under the surface.
Pulling the Hare's Ear along the edge at the bottom can also be very effective.
