Description of Mayfly Yellow Winged Fan
A fly that is really effective for us when drake mackerel mayfly are hatching. There are various types. It often works best when the fly lands perfectly on the water and floats very high as usual and the water is a little ripply. In Sweden, hatching is often at the start of May but cold springs sometimes push it back to the end of May. You should always have one in your fly case.
